Each Tuesday, we bring you a Tip of the Week to make using your Quaver resources easier than ever!

Today’s Tip is for users with access to Quaver Music’s Curriculum!

Did you know there are several ways for students to access QuaverMusic.com on iPads?

Do you use iPads in your music classroom? Are you trying to integrate technology into your lessons? Quaver’s resources provide mobile-friendly activities that help teachers teach music in a 21st century classroom. Let’s check out the FOUR ways students can access this great mobile content!

How to access QuaverMusic.com student content on an iPad:

1) QR Code

Students can scan a QR code accessed by the teacher to load companion resources to what the teacher has on the screen. Any scanner app will work, but Quaver offers its own “Quaver QR Scanner” app that is ad-free. There is no need to log in when scanning a QR code.

How to access a QR Code? If you see an iPad/mobile device TOOLS icon at the bottom of the lesson screen, click the icon, and choose MOBILE to pull up a QR Code for your students to scan.

2) Class Code

Students can use a Class Code – which can be found in your Quaver GradeBook – to gain access to our complete library of Student Interactives. Simply have students go to https://quavermusic.com/MobileApp/InteractivePortal.aspx and enter a valid Quaver Class Code – no need to log in!

3) Account Login

Students that are enrolled in a teacher’s GradeBook can use an iPad to access their Student Dashboard to view assignments, take quizzes, access Student Interactives, Quaver Books, and other content.

Simply visit QuaverMusic.com on a mobile browser and log in with an account enrolled in an active GradeBook class to go straight to this Student Dashboard.

*Please note that Teacher accounts and accounts not enrolled as students still require a Flash translator to access QuaverMusic.com on mobile. Hang with us as we continue to work to deliver the best experience possible on all devices!

4) Puffin Academy

All of QuaverMusic.com can also be accessed using a flash translator app, such as Puffin Academy or Photon. Just search for “Quaver” in Puffin Academy to add it as an app, then install it for future use. You and your students can sign in using your QuaverName and password as normal!

*Note, if your district uses single sign on, some additional setup may be required to get Puffin Academy to work in your district. Contact your IT department or Quaver tech support to learn more.

Which method do you prefer when using iPads to access QuaverMusic.com?
