Back-to-School Tip: Teacher Admin Panel

Today’s Tip is for users of Quaver’s Curriculum!

To kick off the 2016-2017 school year with a bang, we are sharing back-to-school tips that will help you dive right into Quaver’s resources!

Did you know you can add an entire class roster simply by sharing a Class Code with your students?

A new semester means new classes, and those new classes need to be imported into a class in your GradeBook. Enrolling all of your classes for the first time can seem daunting. But instead of enrolling each student individually, try using a Class Code!

Before you can receive a Class Code, you have to create classes in your GradeBook.

Follow these steps to create your classes:

  • Login to your account
  • Click the yellow TEACHER tab to access the Teacher Dashboard
  • Click MANAGE CLASSES to open your existing class list
  • Click ADD at the bottom of the screen
  • Complete the information on this Edit Class screen as shown below – the first four fields are required, while the additional details below are optional


  • Click SAVE to return to your list – now with one more class!
  • Continue until all your classes are represented

Teacher TipWe recommend creating new classes and naming them with the school year. For example: Create “1st Grade 2015-16” for all your 1st grade students. Set the End Date for sometime over the summer, so that the students can be easily enrolled in a new class, “2nd Grade 2016-17,” next year!

Once you see all your happy classes listed on the Manage Classes tab, you are ready to retrieve your Class Codes which we will use to auto-enroll your students in the correct classes!

How to enroll students using a Class Code:

1) Head to the Teacher Administration Main Menu

After you’ve logged in to your account, you will be directed to the Teacher Dashboard, a hub for all your teacher-only resources. Click the Teacher Administration icon located on the top half of the bulletin board.


Under the Setup Tasks on the Teacher Administration Panel home screen, choose to ENROLL STUDENTS.

3) Share the Class Code

In the upper left-hand corner, a Class Code will appear. Share the Class Code with your students, and have them enter it in to their accounts. Once they’ve entered the code, their names will appear in your class roster.

4) Students enter the Class Code

The next time your students visit to Log In, instruct them to enter the correct Class Code in the Log In Screen. They’ll simply CLICK HERE next to the call out for a Special Code and enter the Code!

Once logged in, you should see students appear in your Class List on the Enroll Students screen, and they will have access to any assignments created for the new class! As long as old classes have ended, there shouldn’t be any confusion for students about what class they are now in!


This Class Code is the key to enrolling your students in one simple step! There’s no need to add students manually or create new accounts.
