Each Tuesday, we bring you a Tip of the Week to make using your Quaver resources easier than ever!
Today’s Tip is for all users of Quaver’s Curriculum!
Did you know you can download Quaver Musical audio tracks and watch videos to learn the movements for those songs?
Spring break is just around the corner, and that means you may be thinking about end of the year performances! In this month’s webinar, Quaver unpacked a few of the many resources that make putting on a musical easy.
Whether you plan to use a complete Quaver Musical or just incorporate some Quaver songs into your performance – you’ll be happy to know you can find tracks to many of your favorite songs available for download from Quaver Musicals! Not only do we provide the tracks, but the movements to go with those songs!
To Access Quaver Musicals in Your Account:
- Visit QuaverMusic.com and Log In to your Teacher Account
- Click the Teacher Tab
- Click the Quaver Musicals icon, located on the Teacher Dashboard
- Use the Menu below to select PRODUCTION or REHEARSAL resources
How to download audio tracks:
1) Select AUDIO TRACKS
From the PRODUCTION RESOURCES menu, select AUDIO TRACKS.
2) Choose a Track
Select any song – with vocals or as an instrumental – and click DOWNLOAD to save to your computer. You can also preview the track before downloading from the PREVIEW button.
Now you won’t have to rely on an Internet connection in your gym or auditorium to play great Quaver music for your student performance.
If you would like another song in Quaver’s Curriculum, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will send you the downloadable track of that song.
How to teach your students movements:
1) Select Movement Videos
From the PRODUCTION RESOURCES menu, select MOVEMENT VIDEOS.
2) Choose a Movement Video
The Intro to Movement screen shows you which songs have movements in the musical. Use the yellow NEXT button to navigate through the different movement videos, and learn the moves from Sarah or watch and copy the Quaver Kids’ movements.
Movement Video Tip: When learning the movements, remember to mirror the videos. You, the teacher, will use the Teacher Instruction video to learn the movements. Your students will learn the moves by mirroring you or by watching the Student Rehearsal video.
These are just two of the many resources available to you! Our Production Guide is loaded with everything you need from scripts and prop guides to scenery and staging ideas.
