Each week, we bring you a Tip of the Week to make using your Quaver resources easier than ever!

Click Play to listen to our Tip of the Week jingle! (Email readers, click-through to listen to the Tip of the Week Tune)

Today’s Tip is for users of Quaver’s Curriculum – specifically our Recorder resources located in Grade 3.

Have you downloaded our Recorder Song Book to send home with students?

The Recorder Song Book – now available as a Worksheet download in all Recorder lessons – makes it easy for you to assign homework on the Recorder and encourage students to practice at home.

The book includes:

  • A handy Fingering Chart for reference at home
  • Vocal/Recorder Scores to all 16 Quaver recorder songs

Simply print out a Song Book for each student, and send it home for sight-reading practice at home!

We continue to receive great feedback from teachers about our recorder materials – like this note from one Georgia teacher:

Give me 40 minutes with my kids, recorders, and Quaver, and you get some happy kids! This is their first time ever playing recorder, and they love it! One student even told me he played recorder at another school and hated it and was sure he would hate this too. Now he’s the one-off to the side with the huge grin on his face because he LOVES it! I attribute this success to delivering instruction through my Quaver Music resources. My students are very much interested and highly engaged in learning. Thanks Quaver for helping me reach that one kid who really needed it!

Happy recorder playing!
