How to Disable your Pop-up Blocker

To disable your Browser’s Pop-up Blocker:

Go to the main menu of your browser and look for “About” or “Info” to find the Version you’re using.

Internet Explorer 8.0

  1. From Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then hover on Pop-up Blocker.
  2. Click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
  3. Add www.QuaverMusic.com to the list of allowed sites.

Internet Explorer 9.0

  1. From Internet Explorer, click on the “Gear” icon in the upper right hand corner, and then click on Internet Options.
  2. In the pop-up window, click on the Privacy tab.
  3. In the Pop-up Blocker section, click on Settings.
  4. Add www.QuaverMusic.com to the list of allowed sites.

Internet Explorer 10.0

  1. From Internet Explorer, click the Tools button in the toolbar at the top of the browser window, and then click on Internet Options.
  2. In the pop-up window, click on the Privacy tab.
  3. Un-check the box next to “Turn on Pop-Up Blocker.”
  4. Add www.QuaverMusic.com to the list of allowed sites.

Firefox

  1. From Firefox, click on the three horizontal lines in the top right of the browser window (labeled Tools in Windows XP) and click Preferences.
  2. In the pop-up window, click on the Content tab.
  3. To allow pop-ups from all sites, un-check the box next to Block pop-up windows.
  4. To add an exception for only QuaverMusic.com, click the Exceptions button next to the Block pop-up windows header.
  5. Add www.QuaverMusic.com to the list of allowed sites.

Chrome

  1. From Chrome, click on the three dots in the top right of the browser window (if you have an older version, this will be a wrench icon in the same location), then click on Settings.
  2. At the bottom of the Settings tab, click on Show Advanced Settings.
  3. Under the Privacy section, click on Content Settings.
  4. In the pop-up, scroll down to find the Pop-ups section and click Manage Exceptions.
  5. Add www.QuaverMusic.com to the list of allowed sites.

Safari

  1. From Safari, click on the Safari menu in the top left of the screen, then click on Preferences.
  2. In the pop-up window, click on the Security tab.
  3. Un-check the box next to the Block pop-up windows header.

I am unable to open Talk to Vivaldi with my classes today. Is that part of the website down today?

That activity is working today – are you still having trouble? It may be opening in a new window and impacted by a pop-up blocker. Let us know if you are still having trouble and we can troubleshoot further!
