Today’s Tip of the Week is for users of Quaver’s K-5 Curriculum!

Did you know you can now use your Year-End Assessment for each grade level as a Pre-Assessment, as well?

You may already know that each grade of the QK-5 Curriculum includes a comprehensive Year-End Assessment in Lesson 35. These 26-question Assessments are intended to help you measure how well students understand the concepts covered in music class each year.

To help you create a baseline for student understanding as they enter the classroom, we’ve now added the same quiz as a Pre-Assessment to Lesson 1 of each Curriculum Grade.

This idea came to us from several Quaver teachers who needed a pre-assessment to conform to new state standards. We thought it was a great application and have now made it easier for everyone to use if they choose!
