Piano Player Pie

in At Quaver HQ

This week at Quaver HQ, all we can think about is turkey. And maybe some stuffing. Oh, and pies!

Maybe your mind is on food this week, too. Well we’ve got a treat for you that will delight both your musical mind and your holiday hunger.

Last month, Graham Hepburn (otherwise known as Quaver) sat down to chat about music with the fine folks at KidKritics.com for their radio show “Better Food Choices.” They wanted to explore how music, like good nutrition, can feed a child’s brain – and it’s no surprise that Graham had a lot to say on the matter.

RadioShow

The show – which you can listen to online anytime – was hosted by Ellen Briggs, Founder & President of Family Food Experts, and her co-host Carolina Jantac, RD. They talked with Graham about the positive impact of all kinds of music exposure on children: improved performance in school, balanced intelligence and emotional growth, healthy social skills, PLUS the potential of talent discovery! They even talked about what young musicians should eat to improve their energy and focus, and Carolina, master of a food recipe challenge, created a recipe for what she calls Piano Player Pie.

Check out the recipe for Piano Player Pie, and maybe add it to your feast menu this week!
