Marketing Manager Anne Ciccoline is here to give us a peek behind the curtain of planning a Quaver Convention Season!
Take it away, Anne . . .
As you wrap up the school year, we at Quaver HQ are nearing the end of another busy convention season!
It’s hard to believe, but in the last 11 months, we’ve:
- logged almost 50,000 miles
- traveled to over 30 events
- appeared at conventions from Tampa to Portland & Boston to Phoenix
- and brought Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music to an audience of over 75,000 teachers and students!
We’d be pretty road weary if it wasn’t for all of you that we’ve met along the way. Truth is meeting you and hearing your Quaver stories has energized us. As the main team member in charge of getting all the Quaver pieces to the right conventions all year, I definitely needed that boost of energy! Here’s a look at just a few of the calendars, spreadsheets, and contracts I get to juggle to get everyone where they need to be to meet you!
Do you like jigsaw puzzles?
Luckily I do because planning for conventions and conferences is kind of like putting a whole bunch of puzzles together. Each conference puzzle has multiple pieces; budgets, exhibit details, session presentations, flights, hotel rooms, rental cars…. the list goes on and on. Each puzzle is put together in such a way as to make your encounter with our Quaver Music team fun, engaging and informative.
We know for many out there this is the first step into an exciting musical journey with Quaver, and we want to make it a Seriously Fun experience for everyone who steps in our booth!
Are there any great, totally indispensable music education conferences in your area?
We’re always looking for new opportunities to introduce teachers to our wonderful world of music. Email us with your suggestions!
