Proactively Creating New Ways to Teach Music

Quaver’s Quest

Graham Hepburn and I decided five years ago to devote our lives and resources to improving general music education for children. We did not intend simply to do better what has already been done before. We are not improvers.

We are innovators, game changers.

Graham and I wanted to set a new standard for general music education – to help teachers become more effective with less effort and to have children learn music while having great fun.

We wanted to REVOLUTIONIZE general music education in public schools.

So far we’re feeling pretty good. Our supplemental materials are the best and most advanced available. Both teachers and students in over 1,000 schools love Quaver. In fact, our customers are fanatical about Quaver! Energized by this overwhelming approval and appreciations, we are embarking on the next big challenge of our quest – to help teachers even more.

We are developing a new, comprehensive curriculum for general music education for grades K through 5 that will be “beyond marvelous.” We appreciate there may be worthy competitors out there like Pearson/Silver Burdett and McGraw Hill/Apollo
Group, but they are about to get “Leap Frogged” in terms of the standard for state-of-the-art in general music education. We are not developing curricula for math and everything else – just music. We are investing all our energy in one subject area – general music education.

Coming Soon! Quaver’s Beyond Marvelous General Music Curriculum for Grades K-5.

I don’t want to give too much away right now, but we are convinced this new curriculum will set the standard for the industry. We will start announcing and describing the curriculum later this Spring. It will be available for delivery on August 15, 2013. So be ready!

All of us here at Quaver are working frantically but methodically to get this done.

We are committed to giving you the best tools available. That, you can count on.
