Introducing The Quaver Booth 2.0

You’ve probably seen the Quaver booth at your state MEA convention.

It’s easy to spot – usually the biggest thing in the exhibit hall!

But wait . . . something’s different. Something’s very different!

Last week at the Texas Music Educators Convention, we unveiled the ‘Quaver Booth 2.0’ and received enthusiastic support from hundreds of music teachers!

But if the previous version was so grand, why change it? Well, much like Quaver’s School Program, we are always striving to increase our functionality.

set up

From the beginning, we wanted the convention experience to immerse teachers in our website. That’s actually what the design of the booth is – the Home Page of QuaverMusic.com, complete with blinking ‘Parent/Teacher doorway,’ spinning Treble Clef sign, and Shop Window.

To introduce teachers to the kids website and the School Program, we added two kiosks out front, with computers and video monitors. What better way to have everyone get hands-on experience with the site and, while they’re at it, register for free Quaver goodies!?!

But then there was the Shop itself.

We originally designed it as a tiny little room, mainly to drop our bags and store the giveaways. At our very first convention (Georgia MEA in 2011) we noticed that people just wanted to come inside the Shop to see what was there. Curious? Maybe. We read it as ‘thirsting for knowledge!’

So Quaver Booth 2.0 features an expanded Shop, to allow everyone to visit!

We have positioned the SmartBoard on the rear wall and added some comfy chairs so you can hang out, relax and learn about the latest developments in our world.

We now run regular ‘mini-workshops’ of about 10 minutes each on:

  • ClassPlay
  • Teacher Admin Panel
  • Online Quaver Classrooms

Workshop

And, as they say,

Don’t forget to visit the gift shop on your way out!

socksWe’ve added a full wall of Quaver products on display, including:

Surrounding the booth, you’ll find our four iPad pedestals now have headphones so you can dive into our new mobile apps (coming soon to the iTunes Store!).

What else is new?

How about the What’s New monitor? The monitor on one of our kiosks is now dedicated to an exciting video loop of items that are brand spanking new to Quaver’s World. It’s a great place to start, just to see how busy we’ve been!

Basically, it’s just a bigger-easier-to-find-a-seat-great-place-to-learn-about-Quaver oasis! And the best part? The same great people are there to make you feel welcome.

Our Quaver Road Warriors, Bradley and Chris have made many friends all around the country as they escort the booth to and fro. Come by and say hi at the next convention!

Did you see Quaver Booth 2.o at TMEA?

What do you think of our new set up?

I think the 2.0 design is an incredibly brilliant way to draw people inside to see what’s happening in QMWoM who may normally just pass by! Frankly, at the Texas MEA, I think teachers WELCOMED a place to sit and talk to people about your product! The iPads at the front are a huge eye catcher as well – the world is going high-tech with iPads/tablets and EVERYONE is interested to see what Quaver has to offer there! Other vendors even came up to the booth (while I was there) just to talk about how cool the Quaver booth was! Plus the signage all over the TMEA convention (and the Guidebook App) got folks buzzing and look for your booth! Bradley and Chis do an outstanding job of getting the booth ready (and tearing it down) but it really is the ENTIRE Quaver team that make Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music shine!!!
