Quaver is back with a look at what he’s been up to so far in 2013:

Yes, it’s blog time my people!

I know it’s been a long time since Quaver has written a blog. Would you believe I’ve been a bit busy?

Since our launch, every day in Quaver HQ is more crazy and busy than the last. We’re working furiously on ClassPlay and our new curriculum, as well as putting together new episodes to shoot as soon as we can! I run out of breath just thinking about it!

One thing that really keeps me going in busy seasons like this one is doing workshops all over the country to introduce teachers to our program.

It is amazing fun meeting new teachers, shooting videos with Quaver teachers for their classrooms, and hearing their Quaver stories.

One of the most common comments I get on the road is, “My kids asked me if you were real!”

I can confirm that I am!

A Kentucky teacher told me yesterday that her school was hit by a tornado, and all the kids had to go to safe places in the school. She ran into the music room and hid in the bathroom with her Quaver Box Set, worried that if it got damaged, the kids would be upset! I also enjoyed talking to a teacher from an under-funded district that couldn’t afford her renewal. She put on a ‘Quarters for Quaver’ fundraiser at her school and will have Quaver for her classes again this year!

Everywhere we go it is so touching to hear these great stories. It reminds me of how privileged we are to work with and serve such a committed and enthusiastic group of professionals – but not only that, it inspires us at QuaverMusic.com to create even better resources for you. Please keep the stories and letters from students coming! You can contact us at info@QuaverMusic.com, through the Qnex app, or find us on Facebook!

OK – back to work on the curriculum!! Boom-chicka-boom!

Quaver’s next workshop will be at TMEA in San Antonio this weekend, followed by many more adventures around the country. Check out his complete schedule for more details!
