Logging into QuaverMusic.com can be a bit overwhelming at times.

Exciting? Yes!

But there’s so much music-making fun going on, where do you start?

And how will you ever learn everything the site can do for you and your classroom?

Fear Not! We are here to help!

Quaver and his team at Quaver HQ are working hard on some video Qtorials to help you use the Creatives at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels! Also in the works – live webinars, expanded online helps, and a searchable directory of teacher tools. Wow!

While we wait for these items to roll out, let me walk you through one simple element on the site you probably haven’t discovered just yet. Consider it a How-To Diamond in the Rough.

Listen to Original Music in Your Music Room Boombox!

That’s right – you can listen to any of your original creations in your own Music Room Boombox!

Simply make your original song an mp3 from any of Quaver’s Creatives and it will appear in the “All My Songs” list in your boombox!

  • Go to the Studio and click on the Creative you’d like to use.
  • Create a killer tune!
  • When your song is ready, click FILE on the menu at the bottom of your screen.
  • Click SAVE, and then click MAKE Mp3.
  • You’ll see a note that explains publishing an Mp3 costs 25 QuaverNotes.
  • Click okay and give your song a title.
  • You’ll get a message when your Mp3 is ready.
  • Now you can visit your Music Room, click on the Boombox, and see the song in the “All My Song” list in your boombox!

Try it out for yourself and with your students! What possibilities does this open up for your classroom compositions?
