We told you a little bit about these last month, but wanted to highlight just two of the 70 New Interactive Whiteboard Activities now live in our Online Quaver Classrooms!

All 30 Online Quaver Classrooms now contain these TWO new IWBs!

QLibs

The Goal: Fill in the blanks in this fun review of each episode’s material.

Ways to Play:

  • In Single Player or Team Challenge modes, you’re word bank will be full of key terms from the content covered in each episode.
  • But with Fun Words, you guessed it, you’ll be left with only wacky words to fill in your QLib. You might end up with something like:

Porridge is the heartbeat of music. If you speed up the beat you speed up the turtle. If you slow down the teacher, you slow down the pants.”

What Else You Should Know: Other features include Timer, Check Answers, and Reset Words to make this a fun and easy way to review the day’s lesson!

*****

Train The Brain

The Goal: Match terms and definitions to see your brain reach its maximum size!  Students will love watching your brain grow with every match!

Ways to Play:

  • Teacher Mode reveals all the terms and definitions at once.
  • Game Mode hides the terms until the timer starts and then challenges teams to match as many terms as possible in 45 seconds.

What Teachers are Saying: “My kids love the new ‘Train Your Brain’ in the IWB activities – especially the sound effects when they get it right or wrong!”

Have you tried either of these new activities in your classroom, yet?

My students have a great time playing “Train the Brain”. The students are focused, engaged and having fun all at the same time!! It’s a wonderful way to learn music vocabulary.
